The Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 with Enthalpy Exchanger is a high-capacity mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) unit designed for larger residential dwellings and high-demand applications. With a maximum airflow of 450 m³/h, it delivers efficient, balanced ventilation while recovering both heat and moisture to support a stable and comfortable indoor climate year-round.

The integrated enthalpy heat exchanger enables moisture transfer in addition to heat recovery, helping prevent excessively dry indoor air during colder periods. Equipped with EC motor technology, intelligent airflow management, and a thermal efficiency of up to 82%, the ComfoAir Q450 combines strong performance with excellent energy efficiency.

The unit offers exceptional installation flexibility, supporting wall, floor, ceiling, and roof mounting, with reversible left/right orientation and multiple residential connection options. It is compatible with wired and wireless controls, app-based operation, Modbus communication, and a wide range of sensors including humidity, CO₂, and VOC, making it ideal for demand-controlled and zoned ventilation systems.
